Crane!

A local building site, which coincidentally is right next to the library, has been a source of fascination for my sons over the last several months. Many times it's even a bigger draw than storytime. =)

Well, last week, they took down the huge construction crane that has been towering over the structure. The local rec center celebrated by announcing it, and having little hardhats to decorate while you watched. Of course, when Timothy heard about it, we HAD to go.

We arrived a little late and missed a lot of it, but even so, Timothy wouldn't let us leave until the last piece had been loaded on the trucks and been driven off. Guess that's what you get when Daddy builds things for a living. =)

(Andrew on the other hand, liked his hat, but eventually lost interest with the actual proceedings. )
